Haddonfield Football Team Wins, Haddon Twp. Falls On Thanksgiving

The Haddonfield Memorial High School football team rebounded from a loss in the sectional semifinal to defeat its long-time rival on Thanksgiving Day.
Haddonfield defeated Haddon Heights, 21-14, in the 111th meeting of the rivalry, according to nj.com. The Bulldawgs’ winning touchdown came on a blocked punt in the fourth quarter. Haddonfield held a 14-0 lead, but Haddon Heights scored twice to tie the game.
Haddonfield, which fell to Hillside in the NJSIAA South Jersey Group 2 semifinals, improved to 8-3. Haddon Heights fell to 5-6. It is thefifth longest running rivalry in the state, according to nj.com.

Audubon shut out Haddon Township, 18-0, in their annual Thanksgiving Day rivalry game, according to nj.com. Audubon finished the season with a record of 4-6, while Haddon Township fell to 6-4.
