Haddonfield, Haddon Twp. Set For High School Football Playoffs

Both the Haddonfield Memorial and Haddon Township high school football teams are playoff bound.

Haddonfield is the No. 2 seed in the NJSIAA South Jersey Group 2 playoffs, according to Gridiron New Jersey. Haddonfield will host No. 7 Shore in the quarterfinals on Friday, Nov. 8, 7 p.m. The winner will play the winner of the game between No. 3 Hillside and No. 6 Cinnaminson in the semifinals.

West Deptford is the top seed in the group and will host No. 8 Sterling in the quarterfinals. No. 4 Manasquan will play No. 5 Delran.

Haddon Township is the No. 8 seed in the NJSIAA Central Jersey Group 1 playoffs, according to Gridiron New Jersey. The Hawks will visit top-seeded Willingboro in the quarterfinals on Friday, Nov. 8, 7 p.m. The winner will play the winner of the game between No. 4 Buena and No. 5 Burlington City in the semifinals.

On the other side of the bracket, No. 2 Woodstown hosts No. 7 Pennsville, and No. 3 Salem hosts No. 6 Middlesex in the quarterfinals.

Haddonfield is 6-2 this season and has won back-to-back games after a two-game losing streak. The Bulldawgs earned 17.75 power points and has a strength index of 78.17.

Haddon Township is 6-2, putting together a five-game winning streak this season. The Hawks earned 12.25 power points and have a strength index of 46.48

Willingboro is 8-1, winning eight straight after an opening day loss at Cedar Creek. Willingboro earned 16.67 power points and has a strength index of 94.97.
