Haddonfield Man, Son Charged In Voorhees Bank Robbery
Two men have been charged with the armed robbery of Fulton Bank that took place on April 26.
VOORHEES TOWNSHIP, NJ — A Haddonfield man and his son have been charged in connection with a bank robbery that took place in Voorhees in April, authorities announced Monday night.
Jermaine Johnson, 43, of Haddonfield, was arrested by the US Marshals NY/NJ Fugitive Task Force at a residence on the Unit block of Linden Ave. on May 18, according to Acting Camden County Prosecutor Jill S. Mayer and Voorhees Twp. Police Chief Louis Bordi.
His son, 23-year-old Safeek Johnson of Philadelphia, was arrested today by the US Marshals NY/NJ Fugitive Task Force at the intersection of Rockland Rd. and Old York Road in Philadelphia on Monday, authorities said. He was in possession of a handgun at the time of his arrest, police said.

They are accused of robbing the Fulton Bank on Haddonfield-Berlin Road on April 26, authorities said. On that date, the bank teller told police that a man came into the bank at about 11 a.m. He was armed with a handgun, went into the vault, and left the bank with a large amount of cash from the vault, police said.
In surveillance photos shared with police, the man was wearing black and white New Balance sneakers, black pants with two thin, white stripes down the sides, a black camo hoodie, and a tan backpack.

Both men have been charged with first-degree robbery and weapons offenses. Jermaine Johnson is in Camden County Jail awaiting trial. Safeek Johnson is currently detained in Philadelphia pending extradition.
