Haddonfield Named Top Town For NJ Families In New Rankings

HADDONFIELD, NJ - Haddonfield is among the best towns for families in New Jersey, according to a new ranking published by New Jersey Family Magazine.

The magazine looked at towns with more than 1,500 residents, and took into account several key factors, including average home sale price, crime rates, school performance, commute time, and diversity.

They then took that data to find the different rankings, including the best overall, best for commuters, and best large, mid-sized, and small towns.

Haddonfield was ranked No. 17 in the entire state, and first in Camden County.

"Haddonfield also has a colorful art scene, thanks to mainstays like the Markeim Arts Center (go here for ceramics workshops, kids classes and exhibitions) and LaBelle Art Gallery, Gifts and Framing (this spot specializes in African American art and fine art)," according to the magazine. "With such rich culture right in town, it’s no surprise the town high school has a graduation rate of 98.1 percent, not to mention a college enrollment rate of more than 87 percent."
