Haddonfield Schools' Forums Set To Help Parents Manage Stress
The Haddonfield Public School District will host a pair of online forums to help parents manage their children's anxiety amid the pandemic.
HADDONFIELD, NJ — The coronavirus pandemic has everyone on edge. It has resulted in shutdowns, quarantines, restrictions and the loss of major holidays across the country. Haddonfield parents will get help from the local school district via a pair of upcoming forums.
The Haddonfield Public School District will host a pair of online forums to help parents manage their children’s anxiety early next year. The presentations are similar, but geared toward different age groups. Attending both is not necessary, but it is an option.
The first is geared toward parents with children in preschool through eighth grade. It takes place at 7 p.m. on Jan. 20. The second is geared toward parents with children in high school. It takes place at 7 p.m. on Feb. 3.

Both sessions will be held via Zoom, and are sponsored by the Haddonfield Education Association.
Dr. Phillip C. Kendall, Distinguished University Professor, Child and Adolescent Anxiety Disorders Clinic, Temple University, will make both presentations.
The flyer for both presentations, which includes a link to sign up and submit questions, can be found here. Questions can be submitted up to seven days before each session, and there will be a Q&A portion for each session in which parents can ask additional questions.
