Haddonfield Swim Teams Earn Top Playoff Seeds

The road to two swimming championships will go through Haddonfield. Both the boys and girls swim teams at Haddonfield Memorial High School earned No. 1 seeds in their playoff fields. Both teams at Haddon Township High School also made the playoffs.

The Haddonfield Memorial High School boys swim team is the top seed in the NJSIAA Central Jersey Public C playoffs, according to nj.com. The distinction earns Haddonfield a double bye, meaning they won't enter the tournament until the third round.

At that point, they will face No. 4 Holmdel or No. 5 Hopewell Valley. If they win that meet, they advance directly to the final where they will likely face No. 2 Rumson-Fair Haven.

Haddon Township is the No. 11 seed in the same playoff field. They will visit No. 6 Metuchen in the first round. The winner visits No. 3 Lawrence in the second round, with the winner of that visiting Rumson-Fair Haven in the semifinals.

The Haddonfield Memorial High School girls swim team is the top seed in the NJSIAA South Jersey Public C playoffs, according to nj.com. The distinction earns Haddonfield a double bye, meaning they won't enter the tournament until the third round.

At that point, they will face No. 4 Cape May Tech, No. 5 Oakcrest or No. 12 Delsea. If they win that meet, they advance directly to the final where they will likely face No. 2 Middle Township.

The Haddon Township girls swim team is the No. 6 seed in the NJSIAA Central Jersey Group C playoffs. They will host No. 11 Holmdel in the first round. The winner visits No. 3 Point Pleasant Boro.
