"During the 20th century, there were usually several drug stores in town at any given time. About a hundred years ago, Druggist C. S. Braddock Jr. operated a store at the corner of Kings Highway and Haddon Avenue where the Happy Hippo is now located," according to Cliff Brunker of the Historical Society of Haddonfield.
"In the 1940s, Thor's was on the corner of Kings Highway and Tanner Street followed by Sunray in the '50s and '60s."
