Maple Avenue In Haddon Township Closed For Road Work Thursday

Part of Maple Avenue in Haddon Township will be closed on Thursday for a road restoration project, authorities said.

HADDON TOWNSHIP, NJ — Maple Avenue will be closed between Elm Avenue and Locust Avenue in Haddon Township from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Thursday while PSE&G performs a paving restoration project, authorities announced.

“Please allow yourself extra time to reach your destination and remain alert if your route travels along or near Maple Avenue where work is taking place,” Commissioner Al Dyer, liaison to the Camden County Department of Public Works, said. “Even the partial closure of a roadway can cause sudden stops, new traffic patterns, and other changing conditions, so it is important to remain extra cautious when in the area.”

A detour will be in place in the area. Scheduling and project timing are dependent on weather and may be adjusted due to unforeseen events.
