Oaklyn Rite Aid To Offer Free Coronavirus Testing
The Rite Aid on Cuthbert Boulevard will offer free drive-thru testing for the coronavirus starting Friday.
HADDON TOWNSHIP, NJ — The Rite Aid pharmacy at 249 Cuthbert Boulevard in Oaklyn is one of 38 New Jersey stores that will begin testing for the coronavirus on Friday, the company announced on Thursday.
The store will offer free, self-swab nasal tests overseen by Rite Aid pharmacists for anyone ages 4 and up, whether they are experiencing symptoms or not. Drive-up testing will be available Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.; and Saturday and Sunday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Customers are required to pre-register online at www.riteaid.com in order to schedule a time slot for testing. Customers ages 4-17 need the consent of a parent or legal guardian to get tested. Additionally, a parent or legal guardian must be in attendance and bring their photo ID to the testing appointment with the minor.
