Obituary: Marie K. Bracken

Marie K. Bracken(nee Krause),83, of Voorhees, formerly of Lancaster, died on June 12, 2012.

Marie was an enthusiastic woman who enjoyed arts and crafts, painting, and singing.  She was involved with several community organizations such as the Sweet Adeline’s, Newcomers and Neighbors and Beta Sigma Phi. Marie’s zest for life will continue on through her friends and family who will remember her most for her dedication and loving spirit.

Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Adolf Krause and Anna Krause (nee Glendon) and wife of the late James J.; Beloved mother of William A. (Karen) of Ocoee, TN, Michael K. (Sally) of Haddonfield, Jamie A. (Kate) of Randolph,, James (Margaret) of Langhorne, Shawn and Gregory, both of Roslyn, PA; loving grandmother of 11; devoted great grandmother of 6 and dear sister of Dolores Gaughan (Michael), Robert Krause (Carol) and Kathleen McTaggart.

Mrs. Bracken’s family will receive friends on Saturday, June 16, 10-10:45 a.m., at Christ the King R.C. Church, 200 Windsor Ave., Haddonfield; where her funeral Mass will follow at 11 a.m.  Interment, private.

In lieu of flowers, the family request donations in Mrs. Bracken’s name be made to Deborah Hospital Foundation, 20 Pine Mill Rd., Browns Mills, NJ 08015.  Arrangements by of Haddonfield, NJ.
