
William R. Steets, of Galloway Township and formerly of Haddonfield, died on September 12. He was the beloved husband of the late Betty (nee Penman). Loving father to William R. Jr., John, and Kathryn Steets. Also survived by his sister Jane LeMaster; two grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
He was born and raised in Black Lick Pa.; moved to Pennsauken started Haddon Tool and Die Mfg. Co. in Pennsauken with two partners. He later sold the business and acted as a consultant. Mr. Steets was certified by Trenton State College to teach his trade at Trenton Central High School Vocational Division. After teaching he retired to full time golf and tennis, making friend’s world wide; also playing his ukulele and harmonica. He was a former member of Rotary International. He was also a member of the Knights of Columbus. Mr. Steets was a member of the National Tool and Die Mfg Assoc.
Relatives and friends are invited to his Memorial Service Monday Sept 17, 2012 at 1 p.m. from the HINSKI-TOMLINSON FUNERAL HOME 81 Haddon Ave., Haddonfield. Visitation 12 to1 p.m. Interment at Calvary Cemetery Cherry Hill, NJ.
