Personal Care, Haddonfield Rewards Return To The Downtown Monday

HADDONFIELD, NJ — Downtown Haddonfield’s hair salons, barbershops, nail salons, and other self-care businesses opened their doors and began providing services to the public on Monday, according to borough officials.

They reopened for the first time since Gov. Phil Murphy ordered personal care businesses to shut down in March.

“On June 15, we welcomed the re-opening of our retail businesses and outdoor dining at our food/beverage establishment,” Partnership for Haddonfield Retail Recruiter Remi Fortunato said. “Now, we are thrilled for our hair salons, barbershops, and nail salons to join other Downtown Haddonfield businesses in opening their doors.”

Haddonfield is also rewarding shoppers with some extra “green” from June 22 through July 5. Shoppers who visit the Downtown for in-store shopping and in-person dining during this time can email a copy of their original dated receipts to the Information Center atinfocenter@haddonfieldnj.org to receive 20 percent back (up to $100) on their purchases in the form of a Haddonfield gift certificate mailed to their homes. All receipts must be redeemed via email on or before July 31.

“We remain grateful for our community’s ongoing support of our shops and restaurants, and this is just one way we are showing our gratitude,” Fortunato said. “One thing we know is certain — summer, shopping and dining in Downtown Haddonfield are the perfect combination. We encourage everyone to visit our Downtown in person, as our shop owners, many of whom are also your friends and neighbors, continue to offer a fun, safe and inviting place to enjoy.”

There is a limit of one offer per person, so the Downtown encourages everyone to send all of their receipts in one email. This offer has no cash value and is not valid for online sales. Entrants must be 18 years old to participate. Reward gift certificates can be used town-wide until Sept. 1.
