PSE&G To Repair Gas Leak On Collings Avenue In Haddon Township

Part of Collings Avenue will be closed for three days in Haddon Township so crews can repair a gas leak.

HADDON TOWNSHIP, NJ — Part of Collings Avenue in Haddon Township will be closed beginning Wednesday while Public Service Electric and Gas Company (PSE&G) repairs a gas leak, Camden County officials announced.

The gas leak is at 1303 Collings Avenue in Haddon Township, and the road will be closed between Mt. Ephraim Avenue and Calvert Avenue from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., officials said. Work is expected to run through 4 p.m. Friday. A detour will be posted.

“Please anticipate that you may require additional time to reach your destination if your route includes the stretch of roadway where crews are expected to be active,” Holcomb said. “Be extra mindful of sudden stops, shifting traffic patterns, and other changing conditions when driving through the construction area, and always be cognizant of crews, vehicles, and debris which may end up in the roadway.”
