The parade begins at University Blvd & Lehigh Rd, onto Whitney Ave, onto High Street, and ending at Glassboro Fire Department. A ceremony will be held at Town Square Veteran’s Memorial Plaza.

NJ Renaissance Faire’s 11th Season!

May 29th-30th | 10 AM - 6 PM
NJ Renaissance Faire, Bordentown
What better way to celebrate the re-socialization of modern society, than to attend an OUTDOOR, local Renaissance Faire that literally incorporates social responsibility into its theme! In the magical village of Crossford (which Liberty Lake becomes this time of year), the faeries have gathered together to host their very own socially distanced MASQUERADE BALL!

The story unfolds each morning at 10am, with 7 action-packed hours of interactive entertainment including Knight Jousts, Sword Fighting, Fire Breathing, Aerialists, Comedy, Music, and more. There’s extensive shopping in the eclectic Merchant Village of fine artisans, with a wide variety of faire-food, including the ever popular turkey “dragon” legs. Plus magically delicious Spellbound and Third State local craft beers, and Valenzano Wines at the South Jersey Celtic Society Meade Garden!

Fire the Battleship’s Saluting Gun!
Saturday, May 29th | 12 PM - 2 PM
Battleship NJ, Camden
The Battleship will allow guests touring the ship to pull the trigger and fire a salute every Saturday from 12pm to 2pm. Guests can shoot the saluting gun for a $50 donation to the Battleship, a non-profit museum and memorial.

Guests can make a $50 donation online at or at the Battleship’s Ticket Office on Saturday morning.

Want to get more bang? You can pull the trigger to fire the portside 5-inch gun for a $500 donation! Five-inch gun shoots must be scheduled in advance.

Memorial Day Weekend BBQ at Bellview

Bellview Winery, Landisville
Who doesn’t love a good BBQ to get into the summer mindset? Join them Saturday May 29th from 12pm-5pm for their kickoff to the summer season. Bring out your friends and family to share a chilled carafe of their specialty sangria while you enjoy a BBQ lunch from one of their food trucks.

Food trucks for the day will be Top Shelf Mobile Cuisine and Garner’s BBQ. They will both be grilling your favorite BBQ foods to go along side a chilled bottle of wine.

Bo Rains and her band will be providing the tunes for the day from their vineyard stage.

There will be two specialty Sangria’s available to get you in the summer mindset. The first is their signature Fiesta Sangria which features their Fiesta wine and fresh fruit. They will also have their “Summer Lovin’ Sangria” which features their sweet white wine Nana’s mixed with cranberry juice, seltzer, and mixed berries.
