Road Paving In Haddonfield Set For Monday
Part of Kings Highway will be closed on Monday while PSE&G conducts paving work.
HADDONFIELD, NJ — Public Service Electric and Gas Company (PSE&G) crews will perform a paving restoration at 241 Kings Highway West in Haddonfield on Monday, Aug. 12, Camden County officials announced.
As a result, Kings Highway west will be closed between Lansdowne Avenue and Avondale Avenue from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Drivers will be directed to use a posted detour route of Hinchman Avenue and Route 41 to circumvent the construction zone.
“This is a heavily trafficked area, so please allow yourself extra time to reach your destination if your route involves any of the affected roadways,” Freeholder Susan Shin Angulo, liaison to the Camden County Department of Public Works, said. “As with all road closures, motorists can expect the project to cause sudden stops, shifting traffic patterns, and other changing conditions in the area surrounding construction. Motorists should be extra careful when approaching and driving through the construction area.”
