“Improving our roadway and bridge infrastructure while increasing highway safety is one of the best investments we can make in our county,” Freeholder Susan Shin Angulo liaison to the Camden County Department of Public Works said. “Please remember that road construction can affect traffic patterns and travel times throughout the surrounding area, so it’s important for motorists to be aware of how this may affect their commute. Be alert for shifting traffic patterns, congestion, and sudden stops when in the construction area. Make sure to leave extra time when commuting and remain extra vigilant of additional hazards when driving near crews and equipment.”
