Road Work On West Cuthbert Boulevard In Haddon Township Tuesday

Part of the road will be fully closed for paving on Aug. 6.

HADDON TOWNSHIP, NJ — Public Service Electric and Gas Company (PSE&G) crews will be paving at 310 West Cuthbert Boulevard in Haddon Township on Tuesday, Aug. 6, Camden County officials announced on Monday. As a result, West Cuthbert Boulevard will be fully closed between Stokes Avenue and Linwood Avenue from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Drivers will be directed along a posted detour route utilizing West Park Boulevard, MacArthur Boulevard, and Crystal Lake Avenue to circumvent the construction area. The project is expected to last just one day, depending on weather and other factors.

“This can be a congested area during morning rush hour traffic, so please allow yourself extra time to reach your destination if you typically commute along this portion of the roadway” Freeholder Susan Shin Angulo, liaison to the Camden County Department of Public Works, said. “The posted detour route will likely cause sudden stops, shifting traffic patterns, and other changing conditions in the area surrounding construction. Motorists should be extra careful when approaching and driving through the construction area.”
