Services Set For Beloved Haddonfield Ice Cream Shop Owner

Anthony J. Maniscalco died suddenly on Aug. 6, 2020, at the age of 66.

HADDONFIELD, NJ — The owner of Haddonfield’s Grace Ice Cream Shop has died after a recent fall, according to an online obituary.

Anthony J. Maniscalco died suddenly on Aug. 6, 2020, at the age of 66, according to the obituary from Gardner Funeral Home. He had suffered brain damage when he recently fell down steps, according to the Support for Mansicalco Family online fundraiser. The page had raised more than $12,000 for the family as of Monday morning.

Maniscalco owned Gracie's Ice Cream Shop, located next to the gazebo in the courtyard adjacent to Kings Highway, with his wife Nancy. Families are known to gather there in the center of town to enjoy frozen desserts.

He is also survived by his children, f Anthony, Nick, and Michelle; his grandchildren Nicholas, Jaden, Jaxx, and Gia Maria; his sister, Rita Falcone, his nephew John Falcone Jr. and his niece, Denise Benatti.

There will be a viewing from 8:15am to 10:15am Tuesday at Gardner Funeral Home, 126 South Black Horse Pike in Runnemede. A mass will follow at 11 a.m. at Holy Child Parish, St. Teresa RC Church, Runnemede.

Interment is private at the request of the family. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
