'Tribute to Tish' Draws Hundreds [PHOTOS]

A retirement party for Mayor Tish Colombi on Sunday turned out hundreds at Tavistock Country Club.

Letitia "Tish" Colombi was honored with a dinner Sunday at the Tavistock Country Club.

The "Tribute to Tish" was billed as a "salute" to her for 28 years of service as a borough commissioner, including the last 12 as mayor. Hundreds turned out to honor Colombi, the only woman ever elected to borough government in the 300-year-history of the borough.

Colombi decided not to run for reelection this year.

Attendees paid $45 for the event and no public funds were spent, organizers said.
