Victims Resources Still Available During Quarantine: Prosecutor
The Camden County Prosecutor's Office said there are still resources available for victims who need them.
CAMDEN COUNTY, NJ — The theme for this year’s National Crime Victim’s Rights Week is “Seek Justice, Ensure Victim’s Rights, and Inspire Hope.”
The week began Sunday, and despite the quarantine due to new coronavirus, the Camden County Prosecutor’s Office said there are still resources available for anyone who needs them.
“Much has been done since this week was established in 1981, and there is still work to do to ensure victims have all the resources they need to move forward,” Acting Camden County Prosecutor Jill S. Mayer said. “When someone becomes a victim, they can feel isolated, lost, and unsure of how to move on. With the right steps in place, we can help victims to heal at their own pace, in their own healthy way, and feel safe, which is the ultimate goal.”
