Visions for Vacancies: 126 North Haddon Ave.

Haddonfield has empty storefronts. You have ideas. Let's hear what you want to see added to Haddonfield's business community.

We're back this week with a new Visions for Vacancies. And, at 126 Haddon Ave., we didn't go far.

Last week, we asked what residents want to see at 124 Haddon Ave. a working artists' cooperative and a wish for a bakery, bookseller and pet supply as in days of yore, but the discussion mostly revolved around the need for proper zoning.

So what would you like to see in this space? It has 1,214 square feet of space and was recently renovated. The building previously housed a water ice spot—something missing from this stretch of Haddon Avenue, especially since Cabana became Irish Mile just over the border in Haddon Township.

Do you agree with last week's commenters that retail probably wouldn't work out well here? What would?
