Water Project To Close Capital Avenue In Haddon Township
A water service installation project is set for Oaklyn on Wednesday, according to New Jersey American Water.

HADDON TOWNSHIP, NJ — Capital Avenue will be closed between the White Horse Pike and Newton Avenue/East Atlantic Avenue due to a water service installation project, according to New Jersey American Water.
A posted detour route will guide drivers around the impacted area from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday, according to officials. Scheduling and project timing are dependent on weather and may be adjusted due to unforeseen events.
“Please allow yourself extra time to reach your destination and remain alert if your route includes this section of Capital Avenue in Oaklyn,” Commissioner Al Dyer, liaison to the Camden County Department of Public Works, said. “Any time a project requires the full closure of a roadway you can expect sudden stops, new traffic patterns, and other changing conditions.”
