Who's On The Ballot, Where To Vote In Haddonfield

All three seats on the Haddonfield Board of Commissioners are up for grabs in Tuesday's elections.

HADDONFIELD, NJ — Haddonfield voters will head to the polls for the first time in 2021 on Tuesday when they cast their ballots for three open seats on the Haddonfield Board of Commissioners.

Eight candidates are running for three seats, and at least one new commissioner will be elected after Mayor Neal Rochford opted not to run for re-election. Read more here: Haddonfield Mayor Neal Rochford Will Not Seek Re-election

Because the elections are non-partisan, there is no line for Democrats and Republicans to run on, as there are in fall elections. Instead, candidates were randomly drawn into the positions on the ballot. Below is what this year’s ballot will look like. Click on the names to read Patch’s profile for each candidate:

Voting in spring elections will take place in-person after it was held primarily by mail due to the coronavirus pandemic in 2020. Polls will be open from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday. The list of polling locations in Haddonfield can be found below:

  • Districts 1 and 5: Methodist Church Welcome Center, 29 Warwick Road
  • Districts 2 and 4: Mabel Kay House, 24 Walnut Street: (District 2 – 1st Floor); (District 4 – 2nd Floor)
  • District 3: Crows Woods Bldg., 993 S. Atlantic Avenue
  • Districts 6 and 7: Elizabeth Haddon School, 501 Redman Avenue
  • Districts 8 and 9: Lutheran Church, 204 Wayne Avenue
  • District 10: Borough Hall, 242 Kings Highway East

Haddonfield voters will go back to the polls in November to vote in local school board elections, as well as the governor's race, statehouse races and county races. Primary Day for partisan elections is June 8, and the general partisan and school board elections will take place on Nov. 2.
