The free, annual event also included more than 25,000 candy and toy-stuffed eggs, arts & crafts, and pictures with the Easter Bunny. More than 1,600 people safely attended over the course of five hours and another 300 children received “hunt to-go” bags to enjoy at home.

“There’s no bigger celebration than Easter, and we at Hoboken Grace love celebrating with our community in this way,” said Chris High, Lead Pastor at Hoboken Grace. “This year was special, our team went to great lengths in our planning to ensure that we could safely bring our neighbors back together without sacrificing what makes the event so special for families and children.”

“We are so thankful to our community partners for their close coordination and willingness to hear our plan. We know that many families—and particularly children—have been emotionally and mentally impacted by significant disruptions to their daily lives,” said James Sproule, Community Impact Director at Hoboken Grace.
