Hoboken: Flood Advisory Issued Until 1:15 a.m.
The NWS noted, "Some locations that will experience flooding include... Newark, Hoboken, Millburn, Jersey City, Bayonne..."
HOBOKEN, NJ — The National Weather Service has issued a flood advisory for Hoboken and surrounding areas as of 10:06 p.m. on Friday, as heavy rains fell. The advisory runs until 1:15 a.m.
At 10:06 p.m. EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 0.5 and 1 inch of rain has
fallen.

Some locations that will experience flooding include...Newark, Jersey City, Jamaica, Elizabeth, Flatbush, Flushing, Bayonne, Mott Haven, Hoboken, Bloomfield, East Tremont, Linden,
Valley Stream, Orange, Coney Island, Summit, Lyndhurst, Millburn, Rutherford and Woodmere.
Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.

Hoboken recently experienced flash flooding this past Thursday and last Friday.
Flash floods have proved fatal to drivers and people near even small streams.
More storms are expected to threaten New Jersey this weekend.
