Annual Easter Egg Hunt Returns

More than a thousand people are expected to participate.

Who's up for finding 10,000 candy-stuffed eggs this weekend?

Hoboken Grace, the Mile Square's contemporary, non-denominational Christian Church, is hosting its annual easter egg hunt this weekend.

The third annual free Easter Egg Hunt is scheduled for Saturday March 23, from 10 a.m. to noon at Mama Johnson Field.

The hunt will be divided into four age groups for children and will start at 11 a.m.  In addition to the hunt, people of all ages will be able to participate in face painting, crafts, bouncy houses, free cotton candy and popcorn, music and games. 

The Easter Bunny will be at the hunt to take pictures with families.

“Our purpose has always been to reach as many people and to love and serve our city in every way possible. Our annual Easter Egg Hunt is just one of the great ways for us to do this," said Jean Carlos Arce, Community Director at Hoboken Grace. “Last year’s event was rained out so we are expecting much anticipation from the community for this year’s event.”
