Bike Stolen in Uptown Hoboken

Here's a tip to prevent your bicycle from being stolen in Hoboken: when locking up your bicycle, make sure it's attached to something that can't be removed. 

One 23-year-old Hoboken woman learned this lesson the hard way late last week when her city cruiser was stolen, police said. 

The bicycle, which was worth about $260, was stolen from the basement of an apartment building at Eighth Street and Willow Avenue, police said. 

The bicycle is a green-and-white city cruiser, a mountain bike, police said. 

No arrests were made.
