City Adds Bike Racks

36 more locations to park your bike, adding 200 spaces

The city announced that bike racks will be placed in 36 more locations around town, adding 200 spaces. There are now a total of 65 locations to park your bike.

The added spots are part of the city's efforts to make Hoboken more bike-friendly, according to fervent biker Mayor Dawn Zimmer. A map of the new, and old, locations is attached to this article.

New bicycle racks will be installed along the Washington Street and 1st Street commercial corridors, around the 2nd and 9th Street light rail stops, near parks, and in other key areas, such as the hospital and supermarkets, announced spokesman Juan Melli.
