City Council to Discuss New Park and More Coming Up This Week in Hoboken

Now that St. Patrick's Day is officially over in Hoboken, let's look ahead at the coming week.

On Monday we will bring you the police reports from the weekend.

The Hoboken School Board is not meeting this week. Superintendent Dr. Mark Toback is asking parents to take the junior high school survey, following last week's meeting about the proposed change.

On Wednesday night, the city council is meeting for its regular meeting. Before the meeting starts — this week at 7:30 p.m. — the council will enter into closed session to discuss the acquisition of "real property with public funds."

The Hurricane Resource Center on First Street is still open for those residents seeking assistance, funds or have general questions about Sandy recovery.
