City Predicts April Opening of Uptown Field

The uptown field at 1600 Park and Hoboken Cove is on schedule to be completed by the end of April, said City spokesman Juan Melli.

Initially, the field was proposed to be ready in 2011. The opening and construction was delayed and a traffic signal was installed at the intersection.

Now, the city says, the field is on track to be opened by late April, and "phase 1 for 1600 Park completed shortly after."
