Self-guided tour of select green buildings in Hoboken
The self-guided tour will begin at 10:00 AM at Hoboken City Hall, 94 Washington Street, where you can pick up a Hoboken Green Buildings Guide with descriptions of each building and an easy-to-follow walking tour map to each address. The same information will also be available at the Garden Street Mews. Tours should take approximately two and a half hours to visit all the buildings, which can be seen in any order at any time throughout the tour hours, 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM. At each tour site, a property representative will be present to answer questions about green building.

B.    1:00pm–3:00pm
Guided tour of energy systems at Stevens Institute of Technology
The guided tour will begin at 1:00 PM at the Babbio Center, Corner of 6th and River Streets. The tour will begin with a brief overview of Sustainability Programs at Stevens, including solar energy and cogeneration systems, a planned Green Roof, and the award-winning 2012 Stevens Solar Decathlon House. Mark Byrd, Stevens HVAC Manager, will then guide you through Stevens facilities, highlighting green building design features. The tour will conclude at the Ecohabit House, under construction for the U.S. Department of Energy’s 2013 Solar Decathlon.
Please join us at the conclusion of the tour for an informal Green Drinks networking event. We encourage you to dine at any of Hoboken’s excellent restaurants for lunch, and welcome you to extend your trip by shopping local in any of the City’s great small businesses.
