What can you expect on Hoboken Patch this week?

Temperatures are supposed to up this week, with a high near 50Âş on Tuesday. While it will be cold once we get to the weekend, it won't be anything like last week's icy temperatures.

On Monday we will bring you the weekend's crime reports and take a look at what happened.

On Monday night, the Hoboken Charter School is holding a fundraiser. The Rebuild Hoboken Benefit and Auction will take place at the W Hotel at 7:30 p.m. 

There is still time to buy tickets for the Rebuild Hoboken Fundraiser that is scheduled for February 2 at the W Hotel.

There is no scheduled School Board meeting this week. The city council isn't meeting until the first Wednesday of February. 

This week we will also bring you an update on the city's attempt to purchase park land in the southwestern part of town. 

While the council voted the city is still waiting on a ruling from Administrative Judge Peter Bariso before he can or cannot take place at the dais. 

A group of voters is challenging the outcome of last November's referendum, in which rent control was upheld. We will also bring you an update on that topic.
