Community Pool Open Until Sept. 1
Announced by the city on Thursday afternoon, due to impending hot temperatures.
Don't be fooled by recent rain and cool temperatures. The summer isn't over yet.Â
In anticipation of hot temperatures next week, the city has decided to keep the community pool, located at the Boys and Girls Club at 123 Jefferson St., open until Sept. 1.Â
Earlier this summer the pool became a political issue when Fourth Ward Council Candidate Tim Occhipinti said the pool should be open longer.Â
