$303K Contract to Repair Pier C Park Approved

The city council on Wednesday night approved a roughly $303,000 contract to repair Pier C Park, which was heavily damaged during Hurricane Sandy.

While the exact timeline was still unclear, but the renovations would ensure a partial opening of the park this summer.

The contract was passed unanimously by the city council on Wednesday.

Had the contract not been approved, Mayor Dawn Zimmer said she would have called a special meeting to approve the contract.
