A fire broke out on Thursday morning, injuring multiple firemen. All students from Kindergarten through eighth grade in the Hoboken Charter School were displaced. 

If you're looking to smoke a cigarette in front of a city building, you'll have to walk down the block. It's no longer allowed after the city council passed a new law. 

The city has proposed a development plan for the 52-acre New Jersey Transit site in downtown Hoboken. The plan will have to be reviewed by the Planning Board before it can be passed. 

New Jersey Transit also proposed a plan for the site, which differs with the city, mostly on how dense the development should be.

The popular Manhattan chain is set to open in downtown Hoboken.

A detour will be in effect for approximately 10 weeks.
