The other driver sustained minor injuries, police said. Police said the other driver told them he was traveling northbound on Park Avenue, through a green light, when another driver traveling the wrong way on 15th Street crashed into his driver side.

The other driver, Kittredge, then ended up crashing into a street sign and a fence located on the northeast corner of the intersection, police said.

After conducting an on-scene investigation, Officer Milne developed probable cause to place Mr. Kittredge under arrest for driving while intoxicated, police said.

Kittredge was transported to police headquarters and provided breath samples. Based on the damage, both vehicles had to be towed from the scene, police said.

Kittredge was charged with assault by Auto/DWI which was placed on a summons and received four motor vehicle summonses: driving while intoxicated, reckless driving, wrong way on a one way, and unregistered vehicle. Kittredge was released to a responsible party.
