Fourth of July Celebration Set for Friday at Liberty State Park
While the Macy's Fireworks Spectacular will not be over the Hudson this year, Hoboken residents can check out the display in Jersey City.
Hoboken residents can still get a front-row seat to a fireworks display Friday night even though the Macy's Fireworks Spectacular has been moved to the East River.
Jersey City's Freedom & Fireworks Festival will be held from noon to 10 p.m. Friday at Liberty State Park. The festival will feature carnival rides, games, children's activities, entertainment and food. The festival will culminate with a fireworks display.
The free event benefits the Folds of Honor Foundation.
