HOBOKEN, NJ — There's plenty going on in and around Hoboken this weekend and next week for kids of all ages, and some of it's free. Hoboken Public Schools: 'Schoolhouse Rock Live!' Districtwide Musical
The pandemic didn't stop the show! Hoboken kids from elementary school through high school have been rehearsing virtually for months.

Now you can enjoy the fruit of their talent and hard work by streaming Schoolhouse Rock Live this weekend.
Shows take place this Friday at 7 p.m., Saturday at 2 p.m., and Sunday at 2 p.m. Tickets start at only $5 for a young viewer, so why not support these thespians of all ages? Find out more and get tickets here.

Free Bubble Party!
Lightbridge Academy is hosting a grand opening party Saturday at its new location 1414 Willow Ave., from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. You can expect arts and crafts, tours, refreshments, and a free bubble party.

Take NJ Transit To Summer Attractions
NJ Transit recently announced that it's providing train service to Six Flags Great Adventure, American Dream, Liberty Science Center, and more. Check out njtransit.com/summer for more information.
Liberty State Park Nature Walks And Events
Want your kids to understand more about local history or nature? You don't have to go far.
You can take the light rail or drive to Liberty State Park in Jersey City and enjoy beach walks, scavenger hunts, and this weekend, there's a horseshoe crab walk.
LSP has released its list of July events, including the history of the Blue Comet Train that used to run from Jersey City to the shore (it was mentioned in an episode of "The Sopranos").
For nature walks, the Caven Point Beach Walk runs 1-3 p.m. this Saturday. It's open to all ages, but prepare for possible muddy conditions, and wear sunscreen. And on Sunday, June 27, is the horseshoe crab walk.

Soccer Signups: Open Enrollment Until June 30
Fall soccer sign-ups began for Hoboken kids this week and will run through June 30. Everyone will be accommodated who's eligible, so there's no need to rush to sign up. Find out more here: Hoboken Fall Soccer Registration Begins.
Liberty Science Center Updates
Got a dinosaur-obsessed child? Among Liberty Science Center's exhibits for all ages, the T. Rex exhibit opened this month.
"When New Yorkers look across the Hudson River this week, they'll be able to catch a glimpse of an enormous T-Rex towering up Liberty Science Center, but they shouldn’t worry too much," LSC told us, "as this isn’t the filming of Jurassic Park 4 — just marking the opening of a brand new exhibit, 'SUE: The T-Rex Experience,' starting on May 22."
