Garage Attendant Assaulted During Early Morning Shift

An intoxicated man allegedly assaulted the attendant of a downtown garage early Monday morning.

Around 1:10 a.m., the man walked into the parking garage at 551 Observer Highway and started yelling at the attendant, who was located in his booth.

Moments later the man walked into the garage, police said. He continued to scream at the attendant as well as shove him, according to reports. He then allegedly punched the garage attendant multiple times, police said. 

The Hoboken Volunteer Ambulance Corps was called.

No arrests were made, but a complaint was completed, police said.
