HOBOKEN, NJ — Now that New Jersey native Logan Ryan has been signed as a defensive back for the Giants, he's looking to relocate from Nashville to the riverfront city of Hoboken, he said Monday. Perhaps he's taking a signal from expert signal-caller Eli Manning, who started his family in the same mile-square city in 2011, before moving to Summit.

Ryan issued a plea to Hoboken landlords. “If anybody is out there in Hoboken," he said in a Monday story in the New York Post, "please allow my pit bulls and my dogs to rent your place; they’re great dogs."

Well, Hoboken is quite dog-friendly, with a dog park in practically every...park. One of them even has a pool (see above), something the humans in Hoboken may finally get as well.

After Ryan's signing, he said he was excited to play near his alma mater, Rutgers. He grew up in Berlin, N.J.

But Berlin is closer to Philadelphia than to MetLife stadium, so Hoboken it will be.

"Hopefully," he told the Post, "I have somewhere to sleep this season.’’

Landlords may have one big question: Just how many dogs is he talking about?

The Giants' season kicks off on Monday at 7:10 p.m. EDT. Check out the schedule here.
