HOBOKEN, NJ — Halloween is sure to look different this year as the coronavirus pandemic continues, but that doesn't mean there isn't fun to be had — at least for kids in Hoboken.
This year, those hoping to stay safe at home while still enjoying Halloween are invited to enjoy "A Mile Scare Halloween," a half-hour virtual production for kids and their families.
The production comes from Hoboken-based Branding Shorts and includes cameos from local kids, a segment about Hoboken's ghost stories and Halloween hits performed by artists like Polka Dot, Fuzzy Lemons, Jeremy Beck and Broadway performer Rebecca Pitcher, best known for her portrayal of Christine Daaé in "Phantom of the Opera."

“It’s wonderful to see Branding Shorts take it upon themselves to produce a virtual Halloween Celebration for the Mile Square City. We’ve had the pleasure to work with them on many projects and we’re happy to be part of A Mile Scare Halloween,” Chris O’Conner, Artistic Director of Mile Square Theatre, said in a statement.
The seasonal show will be broadcast on the Hoboken Facebook page on Oct. 30 and 31 at 7 p.m.
