HOBOKEN, NJ — After a year when too many traditions have had to be canceled for coronavirus safety, summer camps for kids are back on this year. The state has issued updated guidance on how these camps can safely operate during the coronavirus pandemic:
There are several options in Hoboken to keep the kids busy this summer, including camps run by each local day care, arts camps, sports camps, school-sponsored camps, and more.

Step by Step Summer Camp: Step by Step in the Monroe Center runs an after-care program during the school year and summer camp after school ends. This year, they're running Summer Camp and STEP UP Summer Camp for older students who want to take STEM courses. Learn more and register here. Step by Step is held at 720 Monroe St.
At Mr. Roberts Camp: A full-day camp in uptown Hoboken with themed weeks, games, arts, and local walking trips. They're open at 1422 Grand St., Suite 3B. Contact them at 201-370-5585 and check the website here.

Bricks 4 Kidz: With themed Lego and science weeks, younger kids can keep their hands and minds busy. Bricks 4 Kidz is located at the Monroe Center, 720 Monroe St. Find them on the web.
Gravity Vault - Summer Rocks: Kids age 7-14 can practice their rock-climbing skills at the facility at 1423 Clinton St. Find out more on the website.
Boys and Girls Clubs of Hudson County: 123 Jefferson St., Hoboken, 225 Morris Boulevard Jersey City: The Boys and Girls Club of Hudson County offers affordable full-day camps during the summer at each of its locations in Hoboken and Jersey City. Young people are involved in a variety of engaging programs under the supervision of adult professionals, including field trips to baseball games, water parks, museums and other local attractions.
