Hoboken Bans Vehicular Traffic After 9 p.m.
Mass transit, medical professionals, sanitation, public works and public safety are the only vehicles allowed tonight.

Hoboken announced a ban of all civilian vehicular traffic after 9 p.m. as it faces a major winter storm that will dump between 2-4 inches of snow per hour overnight.
The restrictions mean that only mass transit, medical workers, sanitation, public works and public safety officials will be allowed to drive after 9 p.m.
The city said stranded vehicles will slow down emergency response and snow removal operations. Parking on snow emergency routes remains prohibited until further notice.
