Hoboken Braces for Snow, Sleet as Storm Heads North
Up to five inches of snow could fall starting after midnight, mixing with sleet and freezing rain

The National Weather Service is predicting a strong winter storm will reach the Hoboken area by 1 a.m., with a low temperature of 32 and winds of five to 10 miles per hour.
Between one and three inches of snow is expected overnight, with another one to three inches expected Saturday. The snow is expected to turn to mix with freezing rain and sleet by morning, with wind gusts up to 30 miles per hour. Temperatures will rise to a high of 35.
NJ Transit it will cross honor all bus, rail and light rail tickets due to the inclement weather.

A spokesman for the city said no major closings or other measures are expected as of now. Residents were reminded that snow must be shoveled six hours after the storm ends.Â
