Hoboken Business Alliance Unveils Visit-To-Win Passport Program

Today, the Hoboken Business Alliance (HBA) announced its “Shop and Dine Passport Programs,” which run from this Friday, October 23 through November 6, and feature weekend Sidewalk Sales and a two-week Food Crawl that incentivize the community to support local businesses they love. Both programs let customers collect stamps in their Passports with each visit to any of the 75 participating Hoboken restaurants and retailers, and once five or more stamps are earned, they will have the chance to win $4,000 in total gift card prizes to the participating business of their choice. Passports are available starting October 23 at all participating locations while supplies last or can be downloaded at hobokenalliance.com.

Hoboken Sidewalk Sales
During the designated weekend Sidewalk Sale days on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from October 23-25, October 30-31 and November 1, all 27 retailers will display merchandise outside or move inside if there is inclement weather, and those who visit can request a Passport stamp, with no purchase necessary. Once five or more stamps are collected, participants can turn in their completed Passports for the chance to win one of the 12 gift card prizes totaling $1,500.
HBA will announce two grand prize winners and 10 second-place winners by November 13, who will each receive a $250 and $100 gift certificate, respectively, to the participating retailer of their choice. Sidewalk Sale Passport winners will be notified directly.

Hoboken Food Crawl
Fifty-two eateries of all types will be offering $10 specials during the Passport Program from October 23 to November 6. The $10 specials range from slices, sandwiches and Italian specialties at local pizzerias and delis to crave-worthy fare like wings, wine, pasta, smoothies, and so many more comfort classics.

Customers can enjoy a $10 special or any regularly priced menu item for either a dine-in or take-out meal, with delivery excluded, to collect a stamp on their Food Crawl Passport. Once five or more stamps are collected, participants can turn in their completed Passport for the chance to win one of the 25 gift card prizes totaling $2,500.

HBA will announce 25 winners by November 22, who will each receive a $100 gift certificate to the participating eatery of their choice and will be notified directly.
