HOBOKEN, NJ — The county of Hudson and city of Hoboken both issued alerts Tuesday about a severe thunderstorm watch for Tuesday night until 10 p.m. Hoboken also said that its Family Fun Concert, scheduled to take place at Shipyard Park Tuesday, is canceled.

The county's Office of Emergency Management warned of "winds over 50 MPH."

The alerts came five days after the city of Hoboken and Hudson County Office of Emergency Management warned residents of a flash flooding threat in the area Thursday and Friday. Several corners in Hoboken did flood Friday night, as photos from residents around the internet can attest.
