Hoboken To Get Wine Bar Across From Train Station: Report

HOBOKEN, NJ — While there are numerous bars near the Hoboken train station, and the mile-square city has more than 130 liquor licenses in total, wine bars in that corner of town are few. But according to a report in Jersey Digs on Tuesday, that's about to change. "HUB Bar’s former liquor license was officially transferred to a company called Hudson Place Holdings LLC during the June 25 meeting of Hoboken’s Alcoholic Beverage Control Board," reports the outlet, about what will replace a controversial bar at 16-18 Hudson Place. "Testimony from a lawyer representing the new company revealed that a project simply called Hoboken Wine Bar is envisioned at the space."
