Hoboken Grace Community Church Plans City Cleanup
1Day Hoboken will bring together volunteers to spruce up the city on Saturday, Aug. 23.
There will soon be a difference in the city as Hoboken Grace Community Church hosts 1Day Hoboken.
Volunteers will come together on Saturday, Aug. 23, 2014, starting at 10 a.m., at Church Square Park and then spread throughout Hoboken to spend a few hours working on projects for various organizations and schools serving our city. After the completion of the projects the volunteers will come back together at 1:30 p.m. for an after-party at the Turtle Club in Hoboken to celebrate what was accomplished in just one day!
Volunteers will work in small groups to help local organizations and schools, like the Hoboken Homeless Shelter, the Boys and Girls Club and the Hoboken High School, clean, paint, and organize.
