
A 49-year-old Hoboken resident was arrested at 300 Marshall Dr. on Tuesday just before noon, after he allegedly hit a 20-year-old Jersey City woman with a cat and punched her in the face, according to police reports.Â
According to the police report, Davis LaSalle, 49, punched his girlfriend "a few times in the back and hit her with a feline cat."
The woman told police she was suffering from pain in the back of her head and her lower back, according to the report. According to the report, the victim told police "I have to get away from him." According to the report, the woman was trying to break up with LaSalle after which he hit her with the cat.
