Hoboken Opens Soccer Registration, Will Announce Other Activities

In another return to normalcy, the city opened registration for fall youth soccer, using a new app. They'll announce more for summer soon.

HOBOKEN, NJ — The city of Hoboken and the Recreation Department announced Tuesday that they have opened registration for the Hoboken Youth Soccer League, which begins in mid-September and runs through mid-November.

The league is open to all children living in Hoboken ages 5 to 13.

They have asked interested residents to visit http://www.hobokennj.gov/recsoccer and register utilizing TeamSnap, a new mobile application used by Hoboken to manage teams and registration.

The new app will require parents to enter birth certificates and proof of residency.

The city said that additional summer recreation opportunities will be provided within the next week for gymnastics, baseball, and tennis.
